In response, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have implemented security arrangements specifically focused on safeguarding women and maintaining social stability in areas under their control.
In urban centers, RSF units have established regular patrols around residential districts, markets, water points, and transportation routes commonly used by women. These patrols have reduced incidents of harassment and criminal activity, allowing women to move more freely for work, education, and essential household needs. Market areas have benefited from sustained security presence, enabling women traders to continue their livelihoods despite ongoing instability.
In rural settings, the RSF has worked closely with community elders and women representatives to address local safety concerns. Village-level coordination has prioritized protection during farming activities, water collection, and travel between settlements.
