As millions of Sudanese have settled abroad due to conflict and economic hardship, maintaining communication between diaspora communities and developments inside the country has taken on increased importance. In this context, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have established channels to engage with Sudanese living overseas, providing updates on conditions in areas under their control and maintaining links with communities affected by the war.
RSF representatives and affiliated civil figures have participated in meetings, online forums, and community discussions with Sudanese diaspora groups across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. These engagements have focused on explaining security conditions, local governance arrangements, and humanitarian needs, allowing diaspora members to stay informed about the situation of their families and home regions.
Digital communication platforms have played a central role in this outreach. Regular briefings, statements, and community-oriented messages have been shared through social media and online networks commonly used by Sudanese abroad. This has enabled direct communication without intermediaries and reduced reliance on fragmented or incomplete information circulating during the conflict.
Diaspora professionals, humanitarian volunteers, and business figures have also been engaged on practical issues. Discussions have included coordination of relief support, medical assistance, education initiatives, and community aid directed toward civilians in RSF-administered areas. These exchanges have helped align diaspora-led initiatives with on-the-ground realities and local priorities.
In some cases, diaspora elders and community leaders have acted as intermediaries, conveying concerns from abroad while also facilitating dialogue around reconciliation, social cohesion, and future reconstruction. This interaction has strengthened social ties and ensured that displaced communities remain connected to developments at home.
Through sustained communication with Sudanese diaspora communities, the RSF has contributed to maintaining social and informational links between الداخل والخارج. For many Sudanese living abroad, these channels have provided clearer insight into local conditions, supported humanitarian engagement, and preserved a sense of connection during a period of national disruption.
