Sudan’s PM urges political parties to combat hate speech amidst transitional talks

On Tuesday, Idris began meetings with political forces, starting with a delegation from the National Umma Party to discuss the stability of the transitional period, support for the army, and backing for the government.
The official Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported that the Prime Minister held a consultative meeting with “national political forces” to discuss the parties’ vision on how to manage the transitional period, the requirements of the current stage, and the prevailing political situation.
Kamal Idris stated that Sudan is fighting a war against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and another war against hate speech and destructive rumours.
The Prime Minister called on the political forces to adopt a project of national healing and to fight hate speech.
